Harmon Law Office, LLC (“Harmon Law,” “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of visitors to our website located at [Insert Website URL] (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices available to you, and the rights you may have under applicable Minnesota and federal law. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site and does not apply to information we collect through other means, such as in the course of an attorney-client engagement, which is governed separately as described in Section 9 below.

1. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of this Site, including submission of a contact form, intake questionnaire, e-mail, or other inquiry, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Harmon Law Office, LLC or any of its attorneys. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after the Firm has performed a conflicts check and both you and the Firm have signed a written engagement agreement. Until that occurs, please do not send any confidential or time-sensitive information through the Site that you would not want disclosed, as information transmitted before an engagement is established may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege and may not be treated as confidential.

Information we receive in the course of representing a client is governed by the Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct, including Rule 1.6 (Confidentiality of Information), and other applicable rules of professional responsibility, as well as the attorney-client privilege and work-product doctrine, in addition to this Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and our professional confidentiality obligations to clients, those professional obligations control with respect to client information.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated or controlled by Harmon Law. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
